Audio Technica ATH-ON3W Portable Headphones with 30mm Drivers, White Reviews
These headphones have a very nice and sleek minimalist look and feel to them. I got them after seeing them used as a prop in a product photo for the MacBook cases from [...]. They have decent sound quality, not as good as the Bose TriPort headphones, but then, those are 0, and these can be had for -30! I think the biggest issue that affects both the sound quality and desirability of these headphones is the sound leakage issue. They are very simple and minimalist, and so obviously fit only loosely over on the ear, thus leaking a noticeable amount of sound. I can turn up the volume to about 75% without any real issue with sound leakage, but beyond that it gets noticeable, and by 85-90% it gets so bad everyone in the room can hear what I'm listening to if there isn't much ambient noise. One thing I also should point out is that they are actually much smaller than they look in the photos. I was expecting the earpieces to be about 3 or so inches in diameter, but in reality they are only about 1.75-2 inches or so, so if you have a larger than average head, they may not be for you. The wire headband piece is adjustable for a comfortable over the head fit, but I wouldn't try wearing them on the back of the head, as they don't fit well that way. These headphones are very comfortable to wear overall, though. They're much more comfortable than my Bose headphones, due to the light weight and simple design. They also won't make your head sweat like some do. br /br /Overall, a great looking pair of highly portable on-ear headphones for a truly affordable price. If you want better sound with even better looks (but slightly less portability), get the Monster Beats on-ear headphones by Dr. Dre. They have a similar Mac/Minimalist aesthetic with much higher sound quality and price tag. If you need some affordable, nice looking on ear headphones, these should do the trick.

Stylish, other wise not impressive, but inexpensive enough to be acceptable - Patrick D. Farrell - Falls Church, VA United StatesI bought these because I really wanted an over-the-head open earphone. It was impossible to tell from the Amazon description or photos, so I took a chance.br /br /They are stylish, I got white. The sound is OK but nothing spectacular.br /br /I was hoping for an open cell speaker that would rest on the outer parts of the ear, allowing in room sounds (aka noise).br /br /In fact, these are mini-closed headphone, like most studio headphones. But they are small, well under 2" in diameter, so even for an infant, the ear cups do not cover the ear. The ear pad is a leather-look material, which does not breath. So after some wearing, your ears get sweaty. just like with a big studio headphone. br /br /Additionally, the band over your head, connecting the ear units is spring steel, and sized for fairly small heads. On my head, it presents much too much pressure, clamping the faux-leather bands tightly to my ears, making them uncomfortable and sweaty.
Stylish, but that's about it - Tom - Chicago, IL
I bought these based on their frequency range, but presumably what's listed is a lie. The sound quality is distinctively tinny, with no real bass to speak of. The padding makes the sound even more distant. A serious step down from my Sennheisers that went down in the line of duty.br /br /I like the design, although the fit is awkward. br /br /Spend another couple of bucks if you're looking for good headphones.
